How do I use Accomplice on multiple computers?
If you would like to use your Accomplice profile on multiple computers, you should install Accomplice on a U3 Smart drive. With a U3 Smart drive, you can run your Accomplice profile on any computer, without installing any programs or files on the computer. With U3's Smart technology, you can run Accomplice directly from your USB stick, and no traces of Accomplice will be left on any computer you happen to run it on.
Just install Accomplice on your U3 Smart drive, register with Accomplice, and you're ready to go, wherever you are, online or off! To find out more about U3 Smart technology click here.
If you are not using a U3 Smart drive, you cannot use your Accomplice profile on multiple computers. This means that you cannot register the same e-mail address on multiple computers, or with multiple Accomplice profiles. For example, if you install Accomplice at work and register your e-mail address there, you cannot register that same e-mail address with your Accomplice profile on your home computer. You can associate multiple e-mail addresses with a single Accomplice profile, but you cannot register a single e-mail address with multiple Accomplice profiles.
The reason for this is that there is a high likelihood that doing so would cause your data to fall out of sync. If you add new activities to your list at the office, you have no way to see those new activities in your list at home. Furthermore, if you are sharing activities with other people, activity updates, alerts, and requests could be lost or processed incorrectly, leading to more serious problems. Therefore, unless you are using a U3 Smart drive, the use of your Accomplice profile is currently restricted to one computer.
