Preferences: Connection (Proxy Server setup in Accomplice)

If you have a proxy server where you use Accomplice, you will not be able to connect Accomplice to the internet unless you configure Accomplice to handle your company's proxy server.  To configure Accomplice, please follow these steps:

1. Open Microsoft Internet Explorer
2. In the menu, go to  Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings .
Note these settings as we'll need to replicate those settings in Accomplice.  So leave this window open for reference for step 5 below. (There is nothing magical about Internet Explorer being the source for your settings.  It just happens to be an easy and relevant place to get your proxy settings.)
3. Start Accomplice (if it is not already running)
4. In the menu, click on Tools > Preferences > Connection
5. Replicate the settings from step 2 (Internet Explorer) here in Accomplice.
6. Hit <OK> and close the Internet Explorer settings window too.

7. Wait 20 seconds - if it worked, you should see the status circle in the bottom right of Accomplice turn either yellow or green, indicating that you are connected to the internet.  If it is yellow, it probably means that you still need to register Accomplice. To do this, go to Tools > Register and follow instructions.

If this does not work, please contact Accomplice at support@accomplice.com .
