How do I integrate with Outlook, Excel, and PDAs?

Accomplice is designed to integrate with Excel, Outlook, and PDAs in order to leverage the benefits of those programs and devices, rather than replace them. You can view your Outlook Calendar and Inbox in Accomplice, import info from an Excel Spreadsheet into your activities or notes, and sync your Accomplice activities with your PDA. 

Accomplice also integrates with several other Email clients, including Outlook Express, Thunderbird, and Eudora. To learn more about how to use any of these email clients with Accomplice, click here. 


Outlook

Your Outlook Calendar and Inbox are viewable in the Accomplice Dashboard on the left side of the application. For a condensed view, click on the down arrow next to "Calendar" or "Email." This will pop open a dashboard "viewlet" that shows you your Outlook Calendar or Inbox. If you would like a larger view, you can click and drag the blank space between any of the viewlets to resize them. Finally, for a full view, click on the small right arrow for either "Calendar" or "Email." This will fold out a "helper" window to provide you with a full view of your Calendar or Inbox.

    Excel

    You can import data from a spreadsheet to your Accomplice activities using the Accomplice Import Wizard. You can also export your Accomplice activities to an Excel spreadsheet.     You may also want to put an spreadsheet or table in your Accomplice notes. To do so, simply copy and paste the table directly into the body of an Accomplice note. 


    PDAs

    At this point in the program, in order to Sync your Accomplice activities to your PDA, you must first sync to Outlook.

    Sync Accomplice with Outlook Tasks by clicking File > Import/Export > Sync Activities wityh Outlook Tasks. Next, sync Outlook with your PDA. 



    To sync from your PDA to Accomplice, you must go in the opposite direction by first syncing your PDA with Outlook, and then, in Accomplice, clicking File > Import/Export > Sync Activities wityh Outlook Tasks. 



    Please note: Notes for Outlook Task are not currently integrated into Accomplice. This means that when you sync your Accomplice activities with Outlook tasks, neither the Outlook task notes, nor the Accomplice notes are transferred in either direction. This is designed to protect the loss of any information.
