How do I decide: Activities or Notes?
You can adopt the Accomplice software in the manner most useful for you. But we suggest you use the Activities area to write out the actions you need to get done, and the Notebook to jot down notes, rich content, and ideas that may or may not have anything to do with your Activities.
The Activities are outlineable, sortable, and filterable based on all sorts of criteria. In contrast, the Notebook timestamps everything, and is ordered chronologically. This makes the Notebook a great place to log notes from meetings or phone calls so that you can easily search and access them later.
Activities and Notes can be related in useful ways. You can link any number of Activities to any number of Notes, and then filter your Notebook based on the Activities you are working on. Try it and you'll soon see how this becomes more and more useful over time.
