Preferences: Activities

Here you can adjust the all the settings related to your activities:

Determine whether or not clicking any blank space in your activity list creates a new activity.

Adjust the default settings of new activities (should they be placed on your plate or not? what would you like the default importance of a new activity to be?)

Decide whether sub-activities should "inherit" their settings from their parent activities.

Set your default starting activity mode to "List," "Outline," or "Last View." For more on List vs. Outline view, click here.

Finally, decide whether you'd like activities to automatically go into "edit mode" when you first click on them, or to only become editable upon a second click. Note that if this preference is turned on, you may encounter some difficulty when re-ordering activities via the keyboard.
