What is a note?

A note can be anything you'd like it to be: a phone number, directions, product specs, reminders, details, etc. Generally your notes will provide you with more in depth details concerning your activities, but you can also use your Notebook as a separate place to jot down unrelated ideas and information.

There are 3 places in Accomplice where you can view your notes. The first is the notes pane in the Activities tab, located right below your Activity list. You can resize this pane by clicking and dragging the dividing line between your activities and notes. For quick and easy reference, the notes pane only filters in notes linked to whichever activity you currently have selected in your list.

The second place you can view your notes is under the notebook tab. This tab displays all your notes -- linked or unlinked -- in chronological order. The notebook tab provides more viewing space and text editing features for your notes.

Finally, you can view notes in the Updates tab, where you will find a notes pane identical to that in your activities tab. As with the notes pane in the activities tab, the updates tab note area only filters in notes linked to the update you have currently selected above (if any). This provides you with all the details related to any update you receive.

Each individual note can also be resized in any of these three places -- just click and drag the bottom border of any note to make it as big or small as you'd like.

Right click on the date stamp area on the left side of any note to attach a shortcut to a file, shrink the note to a manageable size, and more.
