Accomplice - Overview

Accomplice gives you one easy place to organize and manage what's on your plate, what each person on your team is up to, and what you're trying to achieve. Accomplice combines a "smart" task list with a cross-linked notebook, all plugged into a peer-to-peer sharing network. It works how you work, and integrates with multiple email and calendar clients, as well as PDAs. With Accomplice: drop no balls, accomplish your goals, sleep better at night.

There are 3 major components of the main Accomplice application: the Activities, the Notebook, and the Dashboard. In addition, Accomplice provides a handy "minibar" that allows you to quickly jot down any idea you have regardless of what you are in the middle of, and a compact Dashboard-only view that helps you to stay on top of your most pressing activities.

The Activities window gives you an in-depth view of all the things you want to do, should do, or must do. And with powerful filtering and sorting options, you can simplify your life to focus on what's on your plate, or define a view that's best for you.

The Dashboard acts as an integrated control center that points to your most pressing activities and allows you to manage them on the fly. The "Search" capability is incredibly useful, especially as your content grows. And almost everything in the dashboard can be dynamically drag-and-dropped in useful ways. On top of all this, the dashboard provides "portals" into your email and calendar, eliminating the need to switch back and forth between applications.

The Notebook provides an easy place to jot down anything. Think of it as an electronic notebook that is searchable, shareable, and cross-linked to your activities. Every note you enter is time-stamped so you can find that note from your phone call 5 weeks ago. It's useful for writing down or pasting electronic notes, interesting facts, web links, project plans, phone numbers, ideas, or anything else. You can even drag emails and files into the Notebook to easily organize or access them. And by linking notes to any number of activities, you can effectively detail your activities as much as you'd like.

Finally, because you can easily Share anything you have on your system with anyone else, you and your co-workers and friends can work together without headaches.
